Parents
If you are concerned about your science grade please make sure you have accessed your Grade Link- the majority of students with low grades are a result of missing assignments. All students were informed if and what assignments were missing and given an opportunity to complete them. Absent work is sent to classroom and has to be completed at home. Please make sure you check Grade link and signed up for the Remind app to stay on top of your student's assignments. One of the biggest issues I usually see is the fact we only meet every other day so students "forget" they have work to do at home because they think they have two nights. It is a good habit to take care of your science work the day you receive it. I will not give credit for late work- this is a study skill students have to development and requires "tough love".

This Week:3/30- I am still waiting for a lot of the work from 4th grade- please post in google classroom- Ms Hernandez and I are keeping track and I am including Brain Pop, Edpuzzle & packets for this quarters grades so get busy!!! 3/20 Update-I am concerned that not any 4th graders completed their Edpuzzle assignments and very few did their light brainpop. I reposted the videos on edpuzzle as the due date is now past. Please make sure you are checking this website and I am emailing parents from Gradelink almost daily- You are expected to complete these science lessons. If you click on the word - Ed which is above that is your code- you create your own user name and password- and again do not hit submit on brainpop unless you are satisfied with your score. I am adding another assignment on Shadows- it is a simple webquest and even though it says with a partner you can do it alone except you will need a family member volunteer to complete some parts- Again I am concerned- please do not be waiting until the last minute- I have given a chance to complete one task a day - You can email me pictures of your work or submit in your google classroom and I will get it from Ms Hernandez. I hope to hear from you soon.

1. Light
2.Color
3. Electromagnetic Spectrum

I did not put a due date on them but they all should be complete before the 31st and all work submitted.(Remember you can take the quiz as many times as you need before you hit the submit button) On ED Puzzle there are two assignments- just easy videos to help with understanding.
Before they go onto Brainpop- they should begin Packet - What is Light? Class Outline
